About this gift
Ramesh Menon's two-volume retelling of the Mahabharata, published by Rupa Publications as a box set. It tells the full epic in modern prose while keeping its flavour, from the rivalry of the Pandavas and Kauravas to the questions of dharma at its heart. For a father who grew up with the epic on television or at home, it is a rich read for slow mornings and a set worth keeping. The two paperback volumes weigh about 2 kg in all. It is sold on Flipkart by Booklover. A meaningful birthday or Diwali gift.
